Get ready for a spook-filled couple of days in Canterbury’s Castle Quarter, where Halloween comes alive with exciting events for all ages! Whether you're searching for Halloween ideas or simply looking to enjoy the festive atmosphere, we have something for everyone.
Kick off the celebrations on Friday 25th October with our thrilling Haunted Cocktail Crawl. Visit participating businesses, enjoy specially crafted Halloween-themed cocktails and collect stamps along the way.
The first 3 people who complete the crawl will earn a £15 voucher and a £5 voucher will be given to the next 7 to spend in participating businesses*. To receive your reward you must share a photo of your fully stamped card on your social media and tag the Castle Quarter’s Instagram or Facebook account. It’s a perfect opportunity to gather your friends, put on your best Halloween outfit or mask and enjoy a spooky night out.
On Saturday 26th October, families can join the Halloween Treasure Hunt from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Castle Quarter businesses will place stickers within their shops and your mission is to find them! Keep an eye out for pumpkins, ghosts and other frightful decorations as you explore.

To make things even more exciting, during the Treasure Hunt we will be hosting a Halloween Costume Competition with fantastic prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. If you’re dressed as a ghost, witch, pumpkin or anything else you have the chance of winning!
The top 3 costumes will receive a bag full of sweet surprises. To receive your reward you must share a photo of your costume on social media and tag the Castle Quarter’s Instagram or Facebook account. Make sure you don’t miss out on the spooky fun!

Halloween Cocktail Event and Costume Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Event Overview
- The Halloween events are organised by Castle Quarter Canterbury and include a Cocktail Crawl on Friday, 25th October 2024, and a Costume Competition on Saturday, 26th October 2024.
- Both events invite participants to engage in festive activities for a chance to win prizes.
Halloween Cocktail Event Terms & Conditions
2. Participation
- The Event is open to participants aged 18 years and over. A valid ID may be required to verify age at the participating venues.
- Participants must purchase a Halloween-themed cocktail or drink at each venue to receive a stamp. Non-alcoholic options may be available at some venues; please check with individual businesses.
- Venues reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or fails to comply with the venue’s house policies.
3. How to Enter
- To enter the Cocktail Event, participants must collect a stamp card from any participating business on the day of the event.
- Stamps must be collected from all participating businesses to qualify for prizes.
- In addition to collecting all stamps, participants must share a photo of their stamp card and one of their Halloween-themed cocktails on social media, tagging Castle Quarter Canterbury’s Instagram or other social media accounts.
- Only participants who complete both the stamp collection and social media post will qualify for a chance to receive a voucher.
4. Prizes
- The first three participants to complete the cocktail crawl and submit their stamp card (along with sharing their social media post) will receive a £15 voucher to spend at businesses participating in all of the Castle Quarter 2024 Halloween events.
- The next seven participants to successfully complete the event will receive a £5 voucher for use at businesses participating in all of the Castle Quarter 2024 Halloween events.
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, are non-transferable, and must be redeemed by 31st December 2024.
- The organisers reserve the right to modify or substitute prizes if necessary.
5. Responsible Drinking
- Participants are encouraged to drink responsibly. Please do not drink and drive.
- Designated drivers are advised to use non-alcoholic options where available, and participants should consider using public transport or arranging alternate travel options.
6. Conduct
- Participants must behave respectfully at all venues. Offensive, inappropriate, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Event.
- Venues reserve the right to deny entry or service to any participant who fails to adhere to these terms.
7. Disqualification
- Any participant attempting to collect stamps without purchasing a qualifying drink, failing to post on social media as required, or engaging in fraudulent behaviour will be disqualified from receiving a prize.
Halloween Costume Competition Terms & Conditions
8. Participation
- The Halloween Costume Competition will take place on Saturday, 26th October 2024, starting at 10:00 and ending at 17:00.
- There are no age restrictions for this competition, and it is open to all participants.
9. How to Enter
- To enter the Costume Competition, participants must wear a Halloween costume and take part in the day’s festivities.
- To qualify for a chance to win, participants must share a photo of their costume on social media, tagging Castle Quarter Canterbury’s Instagram or Facebook account.
- Only participants who complete the social media post will qualify for a chance to win a prize.
10. Prizes
- The top three costumes will be awarded a bag of sweet.
- Winners will be selected by the Castle Quarter Team, and their decision will be final.
- The organisers reserve the right to modify or substitute prizes if necessary.
- Winners will be contacted via social media for prize collection arrangements.
General Terms & Conditions for Both Events
11. Conduct
- Participants in both events must behave respectfully towards others. Offensive, inappropriate, or disruptive behaviour may result in disqualification.
12. Amendments and Cancellations
- Castle Quarter Canterbury reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel either event or these terms at any time without prior notice, including due to unforeseen circumstances.
13. Liability
- Castle Quarter Canterbury and the participating venues are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage suffered as a result of participating in either event, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
